I am 5 today!

Dado brought me a wonderful cake!

Big girl chab

Chab's been up to a lot of big girl stuff lately. Showering- no more baby tub, dressing up onher own after baths, combing hair, and most of all eating on her own. :) another thing she is good at is thinking about her little brother Cong. They love playing together and she misses him when he is gone.

I'm so proud of my little girl. She has made many big steps this year.

-going to school for the first time. even though it's homeschool, they have a bi-monthly playgroup with other homeschooled kids. She really grew a lot from interaction with the kids. She was shy at first, but then now introduces herself to others. Sometimes she is the one to approach them! :)
-putting on her clothes by herself including shoes! Putting on shoes was a big struggle for us, since she always refused to do it, but now she does it happily.
-taking a shower! She hates hates bath time, but now she jumps in when Cole is taking his bath, and that's when she first took a bath by herself. Of course I was in the room with her still.
-having her first day at football school with futbol funatics. She was so good! I was so happy and scared for her. She surprised me at how good she was. I am REALLY proud! :)
-going to sleep by herself is also a big step. She always waits for me to get in bed with her and write on her back, but now she can drift off by herself :)

Quickpost. 4 1/2 years

At four and a half chab now approaches and talks to peers and other kids instead of shying away.

First Real Hair Cut

June 18, 2010

I got my first real haircut. That means, not just the bangs. My hair was already up to my butt, so Dado decided to cut it. I was scared at first, because I thought it would hurt, but Dado showed me that it didn't by cutting a piece off first.
Dado said, "Let's cut your hair?" I said, "Ok." While I was playing with the iTouch, Dado got a pair of scissors, sat behind me, gathered my hair in one hand and snipped it off in one second. Done!

I was happy, and excited to put my first haircut hair in my baby book. Memi helped me by putting it in a ziplock bag and taping it to the book :)

My 4th Birthday

I love birthdays! Today I got to do all my favorite things.

Here was my list of things to do on my birthday:
-Ride a carousel
-Eat a muffin and have a drink
-Have ice cream from Dairy Queen-Eat pizza from Pizza Hut-Get a fluffy bunny at the toy store or a fluffy triceratops
-Get a book or go to the bookstore-Play shooting balls (Fun Ranch or Cosmic kidz)
-Get a dog balloon
-Bumper cars

Thank you Dado and Mem for a great day! Thank you Lolo for the fruit and Grano and Grandad for the gift and cake. :)
